Sheikh Abdul Wahid was the father of S. Abdul Khaliq who was the grandfather of Farrukh Ahmed, the modern day owner of S. Abdul Wahid. The 6th generation is now running this family legacy. Our ancestors were the official sweet makers for the Mughal emperors for over 300 years starting in the 16th century! It was later in 1830 that we opened our first commercial shop at Ghanta Ghar in Dehli to share our offerings with the rest of the world.
