What families in Lahore order
A wedding order is rarely one thing. Most families end up with three or four tiers, and the catalogue is built around that.
For the rishta and mangni, where a small number of arrangements will be looked at very closely, our Elegance and Celebration series are the usual choice. These are presentation pieces first.
For the main boxed distribution, Mix Mithai remains the backbone: barfi, ladoo besan and motichoor, kaju katli, malai peda, chum chum and gulab jamun, in whatever proportion suits the household you are sending to.
For boxes travelling out of Lahore — to Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, or relatives who could not come — habshi halwa is the reliable answer. It keeps for around a month without refrigeration and arrives in the condition it left in. Badam pak, kajoo pak and our dry fruit, fig and date halwa travel equally well, and the last of those is organic and sugar-free, which increasingly matters on a family list.
For mehndi and mayun, where mithai is served rather than boxed, jalebi, pheni, malai khaja and moti pak work better than anything that needs a plate and a fork.
How much to order
The short version: count households, not guests. A family of five receives one box, and your list will include households who are not attending at all. As a starting point, allow 1–2 kg for close family, 500 g to 1 kg for the wider circle, and 250–500 g for courtesy sends — then add ten percent for the households someone remembers on the day.

How quickly we can turn an order around
Faster than most people expect, and this is worth knowing before you start worrying about deadlines.
- Most wedding orders: 24 hours. Including habshi halwa, which takes nine hours a batch.
- 48 hours for very large orders — above roughly 500 kg — or where there is significant customisation to work through.
What this means in practice is that the household nobody remembered until the morning of the mehndi is not a crisis. Neither is a guest list that grows in the last fortnight, which it always does.
We would still encourage an early conversation, but for a different reason than capacity: packaging choices, customisation and working out what goes to which household take longer to decide than they do to produce. Get the thinking done early and the making can happen late.
