What corporate gifting has to get right
A corporate gift is judged on arrival, by someone who did not choose it, and it carries your company’s name whether or not your logo is on the box. That makes the requirements different from a family order.
It has to survive the journey. Office deliveries sit in receptions, in car boots, on desks over a long afternoon. This is why we steer corporate orders toward the halwas — habshi halwa, badam pak, kajoo pak all keep for around a month without refrigeration and look exactly as intended when the box is finally opened.
It has to be consistent. Two hundred boxes should be two hundred identical boxes. Since standardising our recipes into a documented system, that consistency is a process rather than a hope — the two hundredth box matches the first.
It has to suit people you do not know. Corporate lists include people who avoid sugar, people who do not eat certain ingredients, and people who will simply pass it on. Lead times
Making the mithai is fast: most orders in 24 hours, around 48 above roughly 500 kg. Corporate orders are almost never limited by the kitchen.
What does take time is everything around it. Branded packaging has to be designed, approved and printed. A delivery list of eighty addresses has to be collected, checked and routed. Approvals inside your organisation move at their own pace.
- Custom branded packaging: start three to four weeks out.
- Standard packaging, bulk quantities: a week is comfortable.
- Repeat order, same spec as last time: 24 to 48 hours.
Eid is the exception where everyone wants the same week. If your Eid gifting is significant, having the conversation in the first half of Ramadan rather than the last is worth doing.
