Ramadan mithai is bought differently from any other time of year. It is not a single occasion order — it is a daily rhythm, punctuated by gatherings, ending in a rush.
Iftar
After dates, most Karachi tables want something quick and cold. Rus malai, rus gullah and rabri do that job better than anything heavy, particularly in the years when Ramadan lands in warmer months. Jalebi remains the constant — fast sugar, eaten standing, gone before maghrib.
For anyone watching blood sugar through the month, our pheeki jalebi is unsweetened, and the dry fruit, fig and date halwa is organic and sugar-free.
Sehri
Pheeni with warm milk is the standard, and it earns its place — it holds you through a long day without leaving you thirsty by mid-morning. Habshi halwa, badam pak and kajoo pak do the same in a denser form, and all three keep for around a month, so a single purchase covers many sehris.
Iftar gatherings
Karachi iftars run large and arrive all at once. Allow roughly 100–150 g per guest and lean on things that survive an hour on a table — the halwas, moti pak, barfi, mixed platters — rather than anything that has to be served the moment it lands.
How to order through Ramadan
Order as you go. We produce most orders within 24 hours, 48 for very large ones, so there is no advantage to stockpiling — and a real advantage to buying rabri and rus malai close to when they will be eaten.
Two things do benefit from notice: large iftar gatherings, and corporate orders where boxes go to staff or clients across the city. Neither is limited by the kitchen — it is packaging and delivery routing that take the time. Our Karachi corporate catalogue covers that.
Chaand Raat is comfortably the busiest night of our year across all four branches. Ordering two or three days out will save you a queue.
