What to send, in short
Eid mithai is a gift before it is a dessert, and the practical questions are usually the same wherever you are ordering.
If it has to travel — upcountry, or abroad — send halwa. Habshi halwa keeps around a month without refrigeration and arrives in the condition it left in, which is why it has always been the sweet families posted. Badam pak, kajoo pak and our organic sugar-free dry fruit, fig and date halwa behave the same way.
If it is being handed over, presentation carries much of the meaning. The Elegance and Celebration series are built for giving; Mix Mithai in a gift box is the same gesture in a more traditional register.
If it is for your own table, remember Eid visiting runs over three days in waves. Choose things that hold rather than things that need eating within hours.
How quickly we can make it
Most orders in 24 hours. Around 48 for very large orders or significant customisation. Even in the final week before Eid, a household remembered late is a phone call rather than a problem.
